There is much to learn when you and your family first arrive in Chestermere. We assist with your immediate needs for housing, schools, health care and more.
Throughout the year, we provide workshops and information sessions to give you more knowledge about how to make Chestermere your home. Our workshops cover a wide range of topics from driving in Alberta, to filing income tax, to learning about community events and discovering the many things you can do with your family.
Teenagers bring their own unique viewpoint to our lives. While they are at school, we can introduce them to other students with similar interests and backgrounds. Culture Club is a weekly get-together in the school that helps new students connect with more established classmates. Our Youth Connections Program builds leadership and confidence skills for your youth. Contact our office to find out which schools we are in and how you can participate. Our staff and volunteers speak a number of different languages and can assist you during those times when speaking and understanding English with other community members is necessary.
